Aegis Moto, the company behind Shiny Sauce environmentally-friendly, biodegradable cleaning products, has launched a new initiative to help endorse its green credentials. The company will provide motorcycle dealerships with a 200-litre refill drum which is intended to encourage customers to visit stores stocking Shiny Sauce and re-use their empty bottles. A ‘refill launch’ will be held at DMC Motorcycles in Dudley on the 5th of October 2019.

Since its inception at the start of the year, Shiny Sauce has grown to become an all-in-one green alternative to traditional cleaners on the market. The biodegradable, water-based, pH-neutral solution is completely environmentally friendly, meaning it can be safely used anywhere, and comes in a robust recyclable bottle. With everything, from the plastic to the solution itself, being made entirely in the UK, it allows Shiny Sauce to reduce its carbon footprint.

With the new refill scheme, dealers will be able to make use of a 200-litre repurposed metal drum, housed in a bamboo structure. Believed to be a UK first, not only does this help reduce the amount of plastic produced to bottle the sauce but it also encourages motorcyclists to visit their local dealer – providing much-needed footfall.

A new 1-litre, bottle of Shiny Sauce retails at £8.99, whilst to re-fill an existing bottle will cost just £6.
