GETTING IT RIGHT AT THE DIRT BIKE SHOW

October 22 2014.

The International Dirt Bike Show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire opens next week on Thursday 30th October and, acting on visitor feedback from last year the organiser has been hard at work getting a few things sorted and new ideas in place for the 2014 event.

First up is the introduction of an Electric Zone to expand the content of the Show, to showcase just what some of the bikes can do, and to let visitors have a go. KTM enduro factory ace Jonny Walker will be getting charged up, putting the all-new KTM Freeride E through its paces in a series of demonstrations on the Friday of the show. Video footage of Jonny racing around a disused power station with street trials phenomenon and Freeride E ambassador Danny MacAskill, will also show just what the high-powered electric motor can achieve. In hall three, visitors can watch Oset ‘Pro’ trials riders proving that size isn’t everything when it comes to battery-powered fun and agility, and then the younger members of the family can head out to hall five and have an electric trials try-out for themselves on both the Oset and Mecatecno bikes.

The popularity of last year’s Show, particularly over the weekend, caused something of a bottleneck out at the front. A better queuing system, with designated access points for advance tickets, etc., and plenty more ticket booths will be installed this time to speed up entry and get off-road fans fast-tracking into the Stoneleigh halls. Then once inside, they can find their way around the five halls by picking up a free copy of the official Show Guide which will include a Show layout, exhibitor listing and A-Z of companies. Floor plans will also be dotted around the Show and can also be accessed via the Show App which is free to download at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk

There will be non-stop action and entertainment throughout the four days of the Show and activity timetables will be located in the foyer and in the halls. There will also be frequent and clear PA announcements, the International Dirt Bike Show girls will have timetables and both the Show website and App will prove useful as they will be constantly updated from the Show with the latest news and developments – before they happen!

The organiser received an unprecedented level of ticket requests from members of the trade who view the Show as an important platform from which to conduct business, and also from those who are considering participating in the 2015 event. All applications have now been confirmed and claimants duly advised of the ticket collection process. Reduce-priced additional tickets can be purchased in advance from the Show’s box office, with savings of up to 25 per cent on offer over on-the-door admission prices. For example, an adult ticket bought in advance for the opening day of Thursday 30th October 2014, will cost just £6! Tickets are available right up until midnight on Sunday 26th October 2014 and can be bought by clicking on the BUY TICKETS link at www.dirtbikeshow.co.uk or by calling 01507 529529.
