MC FEDERATION APPOINTS NEW GENERAL MANAGER

October 29th, 2019.

The MC Federation has appointed off-road stalwart Gareth Chamberlain as its new general manager.

Commenting on the appointment, the MCF’s founder Matt Bates said; “We believe Gareth will take the MCF forward and set new standards within our organisation. For those that don’t know Gareth, he was one of the original members of the team when we started and helped manage and organise our 2-Stroke and Elite Youth Cup championships. With over 35-years’ experience, he’s been involved in motocross as a rider from the age of six and together with his brothers, Mark and Justin, staged the MXGP on the Isle of Wight in 2005. More recently Gareth has been heavily involved in running the Moto Vision race team as well as having an involvement, helping his brother Mark with the incredibly successful Motocross of Nations 2017, 2018 and 2019 teams.”

“I'm really excited to take on this new role as General Manager of the MCF” explained Gareth. “I feel I have a lot to offer our clubs and members, having built a broad knowledge of motorsport through my different roles within the industry over the years. I have gone from joining my dad on club working parties as a kid to helping Team GB achieve podium success at the Motocross of Nations and everything in between. I am keen to get out and meet the volunteers who run our clubs, who are without doubt the lifeblood of our sport”.
