OXFORD AND HJC CELEBRATE 20 YEARS IN THE UK

June 1st, 2017.

Oxford Products recently celebrated entering its 20th year as the exclusive UK distributor of HJC helmets by presenting HJC owner and founder WK Hong with a special plaque.

When Oxford first started importing the unknown brand to the UK in 1998, the product offering was fairly simple, even stark: two helmet models, both under £100. The proposition then was as simple as it is now: exceptional quality for a very reasonable price. And the products sold well from day one.

Nearly twenty years and many huge investments later, HJC is not only the UK’s, but also the world’s biggest selling helmet brand, with a huge range of products priced from £80 to £580!

The presentation was made by Oxford MD Andrew Hammond to WK Hong at a gathering of the ‘HJC family' (customer, friends and staff of the Korean helmet giant). The private event was held during the HJC Grand Prix de France MotoGP at the historic Le Mans race circuit. As he handed over the silverware, Hammond praised the extraordinary vision and single-minded determination which WK and his team have demonstrated year after year to achieve their position.

HJC is the only helmet brand to sponsor MotoGP in this way and has now done it twice, after initially sponsoring the Czech MotoGP in 2016.
