The Family Business of the Year Awards ('FBOTY') are a real highlight in the family business calendar, organised by Family Business United, a leading on-line resource centre and magazine for the global family business community. The awards are now in their sixth year and mark the contribution that family firms make around the UK.

The national awards are a real celebration of the family business sector. Paul Andrews, Founder of Family Business United and creator of the national awards is delighted with the way that the awards continue to evolve. ”Each year the quality and quantity of nominations increases and it is fantastic to identify and recognised family firms from across the UK. Oxford Products took the South & South West Family Business of the Year 2018 and as Paul explains: “This was a difficult category with some truly outstanding finalists. Oxford Products was the worthy winner as a business that is at the fore of the sector in which it operates demonstrating solid business growth, long-term strategic vision, proven success, management drive and determination with a strong commitment both to staff and the local community.

From a small business with a handful of people to one that now runs four businesses with over 150 people, Oxford Products is a great family business which continues to grow, yet manages to maintain a strong family business feeling throughout the company.”
