OXFORD TAKE THREE

March 31 2015.

Oxford Products has been named as the winner of three awards at the 2015 West Oxfordshire Business Awards (WOBAs): Large Business of the Year, Employer of the Year and Overall Business of the Year. Winners were announced at a glamorous event hosted at Heythrop Park Resort last Friday, the 27th of March.

The annual awards are now in their fifth year and provide an opportunity for the very best of West Oxfordshire businesses to receive recognition for outstanding achievements over the past year.

Commenting on winning the awards, managing director Andrew Hammond, said: “We are absolutely over the moon to have won these awards, which are a reflection of the talent and dedication our team has applied over many years. We will be using the award as a platform to continue raising our profile and to assist with our future success.”

Andrew nearly added to the team’s haul by coming runner-up in the Businessperson of the Year Award, drawing praise for the exceptional leadership he has demonstrated during the company’s meteoric rise.

WOBA Gala Dinner guests were treated to a personal video message from Prime Minister and Witney MP David Cameron who was unable to make this year’s awards due to prior commitments. Commenting on the WOBAs, he said: “Now celebrating its fifth year, West Oxfordshire Business Awards continues to be a great showcase of the very best that local businesses have to offer here in West Oxfordshire.

"I am a big supporter of small businesses and I am extremely proud that my constituency plays host to so many. They are the lifeblood of our local and national economy and it is great to see their vital role being recognised at the Awards.

"I know how much time and energy has been spent by the Awards team and its sponsors to make this event such a success and I would like to thank and congratulate everyone involved.”
