Dualways, a leading distributor of electric off-road bikes in the UK, is expanding across Europe by taking a range of its Amped electric balance bikes and off-road youth machines to this year’s EICMA exhibition in Milan.

On display will be the Amped A10, A16 and A20 electric balance bikes which are suitable for riders from the age of three to 12+ years. They are fitted with a rear hub motor and feature a centrally-located, removable lithium battery, which lasts around 30 per cent longer than lead-acid batteries. It can be easily removed to charge indoors via a regular domestic socket. All machines have safety features such as Eco and Boost speed settings with a safety brake switch that cuts the motor when the brake is applied. Rear guards protect legs and feet, and solid footpads provide support while riding. The A20 also has 20” aluminium blade six-spoked wheels front and rear and telescopic front forks.

The newly-launched Amped A20 Pro bridges the gap between electric balance bike and MX machine. It is powered by an 800w brushless HUB motor and offers three speed modes from 15km/h through to 45km/h. The bike includes a 36v 10Ah lithium battery, 6061 full aluminium frame, front and rear hydraulic disc brakes and hydraulic, adjustable front forks. It has been winning on the race track both at indoor and outdoor motocross events in the UK.
