When Jonathan Rea clinched his fifth consecutive WSBK world championship title in 2019, a special Arai champions’ helmet was produced and designed by Aldo Drudi to celebrate Rea’s success.The golden edition highlighted the achievement of winning five titles by incorporating a ‘5 in a row’ star in the style of the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame on the top of the helmet.
Arai has now, for the first time, produced a replica of this champions’ helmet with the launch of the RX-7V Rea Gold Edition.
Rea will not be wearing this design during races, but he will be wearing it on several occasions like testing, practise and qualifying throughout the season.
