BEN INTRODUCES WOMEN'S HEALTH TRAINING COURSES

March 9th, 2026.

Ben is launching two new women’s health training courses, providing employees across the automotive industry with a better understanding of the health challenges affecting women’s physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing. The two new training courses are called Women’s Health Awareness and Menopause Awareness.

New Women’s Health Awareness course benefits:

- Insights into health challenges and risks related to women’s health and wellbeing

- Strategies to build skills, confidence and resilience and support with better managing women’s health

- A clear understanding of personal wellbeing

- Knowledge to recognise, support and empower women’s health, at work and beyond

- How to support others and hold supportive conversations around women’s health.

Ben is also launching a new menopause-focused training course. Menopause not only affects women, but it can also affect others around them too, and its effects, from physical and emotional changes to challenges such as sleep disruption, mood, cognitive symptoms and stress, can influence both work and home life.

NEW Menopause Awareness course benefits:

- An introductory course to help people of all genders understand what menopause is

- Gives participants the latest information and guidance to confidently talk about menopause

- How to recognise the signs and symptoms of someone that may be affected by menopause

- Helping individuals understand how menopause can affect individuals at work and what practical support may be needed.

Both courses are available either face-to-face or virtually, giving employers flexibility, regardless of location or shift patterns.

The launch of these new courses underlines Ben’s commitment to inclusivity and improving the health and long-term wellbeing of automotive people. It also aligns with recent government action to prioritise women’s health, including strengthened national strategies and expanded menopause support, signalling a growing recognition of the importance of workplace and health-system support in this area.

Julie Hayes, Specialist Services Lead at Ben, said: “Supporting the health and wellbeing of automotive people has always been at the heart of our mission, and the launch of our women’s health and menopause course reflects that commitment. These courses are there to provide the tools and resources to improve women's health and wellbeing across the industry.

“We know that when employees feel understood, supported and valued, they’re more confident, more connected and able to bring their best selves to work. Our courses give individuals, managers and teams the tools they need to recognise challenges, have supportive conversations about women’s health and create a more inclusive workplace culture.

“For employers, the benefits include improved wellbeing, better retention, reduced absence and stronger, more resilient teams. We’re proud to be a trusted training partner for the automotive industry and we look forward to working with many more automotive businesses as we continue rolling out our new programme of training. With over 120 years of expertise supporting automotive people, we are uniquely placed to deliver training that genuinely helps individuals thrive at home and work.”
