Dunlop has been chosen as the Official Tyre Partner for the first-ever FIM Intercontinental Games (ICG), set to take place at the Circuito de Jerez on November the 30th and December the 1st 2024. This new competition coincides with the FIM’s 120th anniversary and will see Dunlop supply tyres from its renowned KR racing series to 48 competitors from 19 nations, representing the six continental teams.The Games will unite all six FIM Continental Unions for the first time, offering a platform for young riders to compete on an international stage. The inaugural ICG will be dedicated to circuit racing, featuring two classes: Supersport and Supersport 300. Riders will race Dunlop-equipped Yamaha R7 and R3 bikes in each of the two classes, respectively.
Each Continental Union will field two teams - one for each class - consisting of four riders who will compete in two races per class. Every team must feature a team captain with world championship riding experience, two riders from national series, and at least one female competitor.
Dunlop will draw on its extensive racing expertise to ensure that each team receives race-proven products and comprehensive support throughout the event. Each team will benefit from a wide range of tyres, including multiple variations of Dunlop’s renowned KR racing slick range.
Supporting riders of all abilities through Dunlop’s strong partnership with the FIMIn the Supersport class, FIM Europe’s team will be led by 21-year-old captain Elia Bartolini, who finished 12th in this year’s FIM Supersport 300 standings. Supporting him will be 25-year-old Enzo De La Vega, part of the third-placed 2024 Dunlop Superstock Endurance World Cup team, 28-year-old Roberta Ponziani from Italy, and 23-year-old German racer Valentin Folger.
In Supersport 300, FIM Europe’s team will be led by 17-year-old Alessandro Di Persio, third-place finisher in the 2024 Yamaha R3 bLU cRU FIM World Cup. He will be joined by the team’s youngest competitors, 16-year-olds Gonzalo Sanchez and Joy Bruno. Completing the lineup is 22-year-old Portuguese racer Tomas Alonso, a competitor in the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship.
Other notable competitors who will race on Dunlop tyres across the Continental Unions include current and former Moto2 racers Maxwell Toth (Team North America) and Kasma Daniel (Team Asia), and current FIM Women's World Cup contenders Isis Carreno (Team Latin America), Mallory Dobbs (North America), Tayla Relph (Oceana), Astrid Madrigal (Latin America), and Nicole Van Aswegen (Africa).
Competing at the highest level in international motorsport provides Dunlop with valuable track time to conduct active research and development, testing the next generation of tyres in an exceptionally challenging environment. This supports the development of the next generation of its hypersport ranges, also providing exclusive tire supply to EWC’s Superstock class and all classes of the Campionato Italiano Velocità.

Track action for the inaugural FIM Intercontinental Games gets underway at the Circuito de Jerez on Friday, the 30th of November. The event will be broadcast by Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) Sports Europe across their digital platforms, facilitated by circuit racing promoters Dorna.
