DUNLOP GEOMAX CHALLENGE

June 29th, 2026.

Dunlop will once again play a central role as a partner to the world’s premier motorcycle enduro race this year, having renewed its partnership with the FIM for the 6DAYS.

The event will be held in the Alentejo region of Portugal between the 12th and 17th of October, welcoming close to 500 enduro riders from more than 30 nations on 5 continents. This year marks the 100th anniversary edition of the event, and Dunlop Motorcycle Europe ‘s sixth year as an official partner.

As well as being an official event partner, Dunlop will also host the Dunlop Geomax Challenge, which supports club and amateur riders competing in the Club Team Award category of the competition who choose to race with Dunlop Geomax EN92 tyres. All participants in the Dunlop Geomax Challenge will receive an official Dunlop rider kit and branded challenge sticker. The top-performing riders will be honoured during the 6DAYS official podium ceremony on the sixth and final day of the race.

The riders who place in the top three positions will be awarded a specially designed trophy and a Dunlop podium cap. In addition to this, the first-place winner will receive a premium Dunlop Sparco Racing Seat and an exclusive VIP MXGP pass. The second-place prize includes a Dunlop paddock tent, while the third-place finisher will take home a Ogio backpack.

Riders hoping to take part in the Dunlop Geomax Challenge are advised to pre-order their Dunlop Geomax EN92 tyres to take advantage of discounted rates in advance of the competition. Supported by trusted service provider Neumáticos Motoval, Dunlop’s on-site tyre servicing in Alentejo will ensure that every entrant using Geomax EN92 tyres receives expert support throughout the event.

Dunlop Geomax EN92
Dunlop’s Geomax range is the choice of many race winners and champions in off-road racing around the world. The Geomax EN92 enduro tyre builds on the success of the highly regarded Geomax EN91, which led French rider Romain Dagna to victory in the 2025 Youth Enduro World Championship.

Prior to this, Geomax EN91 played a key role in Max Ahlin’s 2024 Junior EnduroGP victory and was also central to the successes of David Abgraal and Erik Willems, who were crowned European Enduro champions in 2023 and 2022.

The new and improved Geomax EN92 enduro tyre is central to Dunlop Motorcycle Europe’s involvement in 6DAYS, and is designed to deliver excellent grip, compliance and traction on dry, grassy flat and dirt surfaces. The Geomax EN92 SOFT specification further extends this off-road capability by offering increased performance on wet, root-laden, rocky and uneven terrain.

“We’re thrilled to renew our long-standing partnership with the FIM by bringing the Dunlop Geomax Challenge back for the 100th edition of the iconic 6DAYS in Portugal,” explains Roberto Finetti, Marketing Manager, Dunlop Motorcycle Europe. “This event is more than just a race, it’s a celebration of passion, performance and the trust riders place in Dunlop to conquer the toughest terrain.

“The Geomax Challenge is designed to spotlight rider talent and elevate competition, offering a premium platform for both club and amateur riders. The 6DAYS is one of the few global events where amateurs line up alongside professional riders and we’re proud to support them all with our cutting-edge Geomax tyre technology adapted to the demanding terrain mainly composed this year of sand and stone. We can’t wait to see our Geomax tyres in action on Portuguese soil and to celebrate the incredible achievements of every rider taking part.”

“On behalf of the FIM I would like to express my delight that such a valued, long-standing supporter of the 6DAYS as Dunlop is continuing its event support for professional and amateur riders,” adds Fabio Muner, Marketing and Digital Director, FIM. “The Dunlop Geomax Challenge is a forward-thinking initiative that recognises the achievements of club team riders and as such is entirely in keeping with the inclusivity ethos of the FIM 6DAYS.”

To maximise durability, riders may also choose to pair their Geomax EN92 tyres with Dunlop’s Geomax Mousse inserts, offering resistance and more consistent handling across varied terrain.

Those intending to race with Dunlop Geomax EN92 tyres are recommended to pre-order their tyres and mousses by the 15th of September to take advantage of discounted rates and avoid disappointment, as available stock in the paddock will be extremely limited.
