May 1st, 2020.

Trader last spoke with the team at Pyramid Plastics back in 2017 when hugger extensions were the latest development. It’s clear that substantial progress has been made since then. Trader spoke with Adam Bowser to find out more.

The structure of Pyramid Plastics remains firmly in the hands of the Bowser family, with siblings Adam as general manager and Andy taking care of marketing, product development and design. “We wanted to test the waters in the retail sector first, and now he is in the process of copying the key elements to a separate trade site which will hopefully go live in late Spring. Our trade operation accounts for around 70 per cent of the business, and so is hugely important to us. We’ll focus on speeding up the ordering and despatch process for dealers.”

Adam went on out outline what they view as an important addition for their trade customers - the implementation of an FTP file where Pyramid shares its stock data. “We’re noticing that more dealers are setting up their own online stores for parts, accessories, clothing, etc. To do this they need to access current stock prices and availability via a Live Stock Feed …”

Turning next to new developments, the latest innovation at Pyramid Products has been in the field of specialist paint jobs. Working with Dream Machine, Pyramid and its customers have enjoyed significant growth in turnover in this area of business ….
