Since its launch, the lightweight Raptor 250 has proved to be a popular machine across a wide range of age groups, however, it has been pushed beyond its natural limits. The OEM frames are getting older, and there are only so many times the ultra-thin stock chassis can be repaired.

Lone Star Racing has come to the rescue with a solution that provides an affordable chassis that will hold up to the abuse of the toughest riders and racing conditions.

The Lone Star Racing Raptor 250 chassis is designed to fix the common problem of the OEM chassis twisting, as well as motor mounts and general frame stress areas cracking. The chassis with removable and replaceable sub-frame is made from fully TIG-welded 4130 chromoly steel for superior strength, extra motor mounts have been added on the bottom of the motor, stronger accessory tabs, pivot plates and shock mounts, the tubing thickness was also increased in the critical stress areas to prevent the frame from twisting or cracking.

This frame weighs just 2kg more than the stock Yamaha chassis but is over twice as strong and will last for years to come.

All the stock components fit straight on so there are no “special only” parts required.
