The Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCIA), has a new Marketing, Communications and Sponsorship Manager covering all events including MCL. Si McNally will be familiar to many, as he freelanced with the MCL team on the run up to, and during MCL25. He brings with him extensive experience in marketing and events and will report directly to Finlay McAllan.Tony Campbell, MCIA CEO explained: “We are confident, Si will inject new ideas and creativity into the MCL communications, marketing and sponsorship packages. Our aim is to attract new riders and a wider audience, in addition to existing enthusiasts at the event. We are confident that Si’s background, experience and energy will support us to deliver on all these key areas. Digital comms have become fundamental to every event's success, and this digital engagement will be one of Si’s primary functions.
"Si's previous roles include heading up senior commercial and marketing roles for teams in elite level motorsport, most recently British Superbike Champions, OMG Racing, and a number of years in the British Touring Car Championship. Other projects include Pikes Peak in the USA and delivering innovative sponsorship programmes for teams across high-level motorsport events including the Porsche Cup.”
