MTHelmets-MSi – BRITISH GP PREVIEW

August 2nd, 2013.

MTHelmets-MSi finishes the summer break with extra motivation and heads to England for the ninth round of the season.

Diogo Moreira arrives at a track where he took his first pole position in the Moto3 World Championship in 2022, so this gives him a lot of positivity. For the Brazilian rider this break has been a plus of strength to keep fighting hard and to be able to recover the good pace he had at the beginning of the season.

Syarifuddin Azman returns from his holidays fully recovered from his rib injury, new to fatherhood and ready to get to know a new circuit for him. The Malaysian rider, who was unable to finish the Dutch Grand Prix because he still had a lot of discomfort on his bike, is looking forward to the British Grand Prix on his way to consolidating his position in the Moto3 World Championship.

The British Grand Prix (4-6 August) starts on Friday with the first practice sessions. P1 will be from 9:00 to 9:35 (GMT +2) and P2 from 13:15 to 13:50 (GMT +2). Rain is expected during the weekend, with maximum temperatures of 20º and minimum temperatures of 10º.

Jordi Gatell-TEAM MANAGER:
"After a few weeks of rest, we are back in action at the Silverstone GP, an emblematic circuit that brings back good memories from last year. Diogo has not stopped training to be as strong as possible for the second part of the championship, after a couple of races that for different circumstances the results have not been as expected. Diogo returns more motivated than ever to recover the sensations of the beginning of the season. For his part, Damok is already recovered from his injury and after his recent paternity he will continue learning new circuits for him, and that will serve him as experience for the next seasons without discarding in this process of learning to achieve good results".

Diogo Moreira:
"We are back in action. I think I'm in my best moment of the season. I've been training all this month and now it's time to enjoy myself again and get back on the podium. Let's see if we can win a race, which is what I'm hoping for right now".

Syarifuddin Azman:
"Finally there is a week of racing after the long summer break. Now going to Silverstone, which is a new track for me where I will have new experiences here. I would really like to enjoy this weekend so I am going to fight as hard as I can and get the best possible results."
