One of the best-selling motorcycle battery chargers, OptiMate 3, has been updated with a key improvement. OptiMate 3, Version 2, can now recover deeply discharged batteries from as low as 0.5V. That means more ‘dead flat’ batteries stand a chance of being brought back to life, rather than being replaced. This is particularly useful at a time when bikes are starting to come out of winter storage and riders face the joy of a discharged battery.
