R&G is in full planning mode for the 2022 Bennetts British Superbike Championship and has confirmed it will return to the series as an Official Crash Protection Supplier for the sixth consecutive season.

The British Superbike series acts as the perfect testing ground for R&G’s innovative range of crash protection products. Utilised by teams across the paddock in every class, the Hampshire-based firm’s products play an essential role in helping riders and teams to minimise damage and costs following a crash, thus ensuring they can  get out for the next session.

In addition to supporting the championship itself, R&G will again help multiple teams throughout the paddock, as well as running its Paddock Support Service/Technical Centre at each round.

In the Superbike class, R&G will support the Moto Rapido Racing Ducati, TAG Racing Honda and GR Motosport Kawasaki teams. The company also lends a hand to multiple teams in other Championships, including Gearlink Kawasaki, True Heroes Racing and JR Performance, with other agreements in the works. R&G is also enhancing its Ducati TriOptions Cup and Honda British Talent Cup packages for 2022, with each rider eligible for a free set of R&G Race Series Engine Case Covers as well as an increased 50 per cent discount on a range of essential crash protection and racing accessories.

Looking ahead to what is set to be the crash protection specialist’s biggest year yet, R&G Managing Director Simon Hughes said; “Since our beginnings in 1999, racing has always been at the core of what we do at R&G. We are really excited to be returning as an Official Sponsor of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship once more and supporting teams and riders across the paddock. This year was an incredible season of racing, and we can’t wait to see what 2022 brings.”
