Yamaha Motor has announced a major strategic shift in its Outdoor Land Vehicles (OLV) operations, establishing a clear, focused path towards expanding its All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) presence across the UK and European markets.Under the new strategy, Yamaha will concentrate its global engineering resources, development power, and investments directly into its core ATV business. To meet the specific demands of UK farming, estate management, and commercial operators, Yamaha will introduce a completely renewed line-up of next-generation ATVs in the future. These models will feature European-tailored variations, upgraded technology, and an extensive range of official factory accessories.
By doubling down on the ATV sector, where models such as the Kodiak 450 and Grizzly 700 remain industry workhorses, Yamaha is positioning its UK dealer network to deliver higher availability, tailored accessories, and enhanced technology that perfectly suit tough UK agricultural conditions.
"This strategic alignment allows us to direct our full focus and resources toward what our UK agricultural and commercial customers rely on most, our high-quality, highly dependable ATV line-up," said Matt Taylerson, Divisional Manager, Marketing at Yamaha Motor UK.
"We are entering a transformative phase with an incredible pipeline of all-new ATV models in development. These future products will deliver the reliability, durability, and innovation that UK customers expect from Yamaha."
As part of the broader global division restructure and in response to shifting European regulatory landscapes, restricted user environments, and rising homologation demands, Yamaha Motor Europe will phase out its recreational and multi-seat Wolverine RMAX and Viking Side-by-Side (SSV) models by the end of 2027.
Aftersales Support for Existing SSV OwnersYamaha Motor UK reassures all current and prospective Side-by-Side owners that their investment remains fully protected. Yamaha will maintain comprehensive spare parts availability, servicing support, warranty backing, and technical assistance across its national dealer network in line with Yamaha’s long-term customer protection policies throughout the vehicle lifecycles.
Further announcements regarding the official launch dates and technical specifications of Yamaha’s all-new ATV models will be shared in due course.
