Malcolm Rathmell Sport Ltd has been appointed as UK distributor for SUOMY and KYT helmets.

KYT has a long association with the motorcycle industry, starting production in 1980. It sponsors ex-British MX Champion Shaun Simpson and also ex-World MX Champion Romain Febvre.

In 2014 KYT started its collaboration with the well-established Suomy brand which has a long relationship with several top riders, in particular, from the world of motocross, it sponsors Kevin Strijbos, Arnaud Tonus, Arminas Jasikonis, Thomas Covington, Conrad Mewes and various others.

Commenting on the new venture, Malcolm Rathmell said; "As a company, we see this new relationship as a great opportunity to move forward in the off-road market. After our meeting and discussions with Suomy-KRT we feel they are a very dynamic, forward-thinking company who want to push hard in our market.
